Size Guide

Fit is decided by the chest measurement, not by weight. Measure your dog at the broadest part of the chest, just behind the front legs, and around the neck where the jacket will sit. If your dog is between sizes, or close to the upper limit of a size, choose the larger size.

The weight column is a guide only, to help you sanity-check the size you picked from the measurements. It is derived from the breeds that typically fit each chest range, not from a manufacturer load rating.

Note on S and M. The supplier's chest ranges for S and M overlap between 41 and 53 cm. If your dog falls in that overlap, use the neck girth and back length to decide, and choose M for a deeper-chested dog.

Water safety

A life jacket is an aid, not a substitute for supervision. Never leave your dog unattended in or near water while wearing it.
Check the fit before every use. Straps should be snug enough that the jacket cannot slide or rotate, without restricting breathing or movement.
Inspect straps, buckles and stitching before each use and replace the jacket if any component is damaged.
Introduce the jacket in shallow, calm water first.
