Built for big dogs and long walks.

The Outrider range is a tactical-style collar and lead system for large breeds, in four colours: Black, Khaki, Olive and Camo. Wide 3.8 cm nylon webbing, padded on the inside, with metal hardware. Choose the collar you prefer, the lead, or a lead-and-collar set.

Tactical Collar: quick-release buckle and a grab handle.

A metal quick-release buckle clips shut and opens with a squeeze. A padded handle runs along the top of the collar, so you can hold your dog close at a kerb or a gate. The metal D-ring sits next to the buckle for the lead. A large hook-and-loop panel on the outside takes a name or ID patch (patches not included).

Dual-Buckle Collar: classic double-pin fastening.

Two metal pins close through two rows of metal eyelets, the traditional way. It has the same wide, padded build and a metal D-ring, but no handle, for a cleaner look.

Tactical Lead: a little give.

An elasticated middle section stretches and gives a little when your dog pulls. There is a flat hand loop at the end and a second short handle close to the clip for tight spaces.

The Set: one Tactical Lead with one Dual-Buckle Collar, in the same colour.

Size guide

Measure first. Weights and breeds are a starting point only.

  1. Wrap a soft tape measure around the base of your dog's neck, where a collar sits.
  2. Slide two fingers under the tape. That is your measurement.
  3. Find your dog's weight in the table, then check that the measurement is comfortably under the collar length.

Supplier measurements. Allow 1–2 cm variation. Between sizes, choose the larger. Giant breeds over 58 kg, such as Great Danes, Mastiffs and Newfoundlands, are likely to be too large for XL. Not sure? Email us your dog's neck measurement and weight before you order.

Using it safely

Check the fit every week. Two fingers should slide under the collar, and it should not slip over your dog's head. Do not tie your dog up or leave them unattended in a collar, and take it off for crating and unsupervised play. The grab handle is for holding your dog close. It is not for lifting or tethering. Hand wash in cool water and air dry.
